OpenWheeler and OpenWheeler+

Presently, there are two OpenWheeler models available: OpenWheeler and OpenWheeler+, offered at £270 and £312 GBP, respectively. These prices include VAT and exclude delivery fees (with the exception of the United Kingdom - free-of-charge delivery is offered on all UK orders). The fortunate English clients should allow 1-2 days for delivery, which is rather fast actually. Let’s see how the two OpenWheeler models function.

Hand wheels

The basic PS3 gaming chair model produced by OpenWheeler is called OpenWheeler. Regardless of its name, you should not consider it as being an entry-level model. That’s because OpenWheeler works with nearly all video game racing wheel models available on the marketplace, which do not need a separate gear shift stand. That’s almost 99% of all race wheel models available on the market. Your Logitech Driving Force GT, Logitech EX, Fanatec Porsche or Thrustmaster T500 RS will fit ideally into OpenWheeler’s chassis. Sounds like almost all major driving wheel models are compatible with this compact racing seat simulator.

OpenWheeler+ has a special stand for an external gear shift apparatus. In fact, that’s the only difference between the two models. Apt examples of steering wheel models with an external gear shift unit are the popular Logitech G25 and Logitech G27 models.

PS3 Gaming Chair

Since you already know that OpenWheeler is not an entry-level PS3 driving seat and that it is compatible with nearly every hand wheel model available on the marketplace, you would probably ask about the compatible game consoles. As a matter of fact, both OpenWheeler models (the OpenWheeler and OpenWheeler+ models) are compatible with all sorts of game consoles (PlayStation, Xbox, Wii) as well as with all PCs that allow home video game racing wheels to connect to them (mainly via USB).
